KALORAMA MADRID ANNOUNCES SCHEDULE, STAGES, AND A NEW ARTISTIC ADDITION TO COMPLETE ITS INAUGURAL EDITION

The countdown has begun for KALORAMA Madrid, set to take place on August 29, 30, and 31 at the IFEMA MADRID Exhibition Center. The organizers have revealed the artistic schedule and times for this inaugural edition, which promises to be the perfect way to wrap up the summer with unique concerts and performances from top international artists. One of them is Folamour, the latest addition to the line-up. The house and disco music genius will showcase his talent with his renowned A/V show, bringing euphoria to the dance floor.

The Lyon-based artist will perform on Thursday, August 29, joining a lineup that features an absolute variety of musical styles, including Sam Smith, The Prodigy, Massive Attack, Raye, LCD Soundsystem, Peggy Gou, Jungle, and The Postal Service, among many others. The festival embraces a diversity of styles and sounds across three distinct stages: STAGE ONE, STAGE TWO, and STAGE THREE.

All that remains is to finalize the artistic lineup and schedule for an event that is committed to quality, which is detailed as follows

Thursday, August 29, is the opening day, with doors opening at 5:00 PM. On STAGE ONE, the focus will be on guitars, with the energetic English Teacher kicking off the festival, followed by the dazzling Nation of Language. The day will culminate with the intergenerational indie pop of The Postal Service + Death Cab for Cutie and the punk-flavored indie dance of LCD Soundsystem as the major highlights.

The elegant pop-influenced electronic sounds of Joe Goddard will lead into the 2000s rock of The Kills on STAGE TWO, which will be closed by the previously mentioned Folamour with his warm and joyful house and disco. Meanwhile, STAGE THREE will be dedicated to national clubbing, featuring collectives like Zsongo Club with Chris Collins & Afri K and EGO TRIP with Lier, Texture & Yoryo leading the charge.

The most eclectic and experimental day will be Friday, August 30, featuring STAGE ONE with performances by the iconic The Prodigy with their unchanged rave spirit, Raye as the current queen of R&B, and the festive synth-pop of Gossip. The avant-garde sounds of Yves Tumor and the sensitivity of Tristán! will also be enjoyed during the early hours of the day.

A blend of styles will be showcased on STAGE TWO with performances by the lively Soulwax, the mellow bass music of Overmono, the surprising and atmospheric Fever Ray, as well as the guitars of Yard Act and the tropical sounds of Colectivo Da Silva. STAGE THREE will feature dancing with well-known local parties such as La Luz with Gazzi and Aleksandir, and Antídoto Club with Yosef, Diego Armando, and Maxvll.

On August 31, the inaugural edition of KALORAMA Madrid will close with a bang on STAGE ONE, featuring powerful acts that evoke 90s trip-hop like Massive Attack, the pop of Sam Smith, jazz blends from Ezra Collective, and the raw, combative rap of Huda.

Currently reigning supreme in the DJ booths is Peggy Gou, who will close STAGE TWO. Also featured on this stage will be the funky sounds of Jungle, the neo-soul of Olivia Dean, and the punk-rock essence of Monobloc. For those looking to dance the night away, STAGE THREE will host the CARBS session with Ketiov and Fernanda Arrau, presented by Glenda Galore and her performers, as well as the MAREO collective, featuring the sounds of Akazie, LaFrancessa, and 8kitoo.
