The arrival of KALORAMA Madrid<\/strong> on August 29, 30, and 31 at the IFEMA Fairground continues to establish itself as the most exciting event to close the summer season, thanks to a stellar lineup that now includes a new headliner of the caliber of The Prodigy. <\/strong> Their concert promises to be a whirlwind of wild dances and mosh pits.<\/p>\n

The electronic duo formed by Liam Howlett and Maxim Reality is known for elevating breakbeat-hardcore to new heights in the early ’90s. They transitioned from illegal raves to the biggest stages throughout the ’90s, becoming one of the leading forces of British Big Beat with a punk attitude they have never abandoned. Albums like Music For The Jilted Generation, The Fat of the Land, and Invaders Must Die are considered masterpieces, and few electronic groups can boast of embedding so many tracks into popular culture. Songs like ‘Out of Space,’ ‘Voodoo People,’ ‘Smack My Bitch Up,’ ‘Breathe,’ and ‘The Omen’ have transcended their genre and continue to influence multiple generations.<\/p>\n

The Essex band will perform on Friday, August 30 and join big names in the music scene such as Sam Smith, Massive Attack, Raye, LCD Soundsystem, Peggy Gou, The Smile, Jungle<\/strong> or The Postal Service Death<\/strong> among many others. KALORAMA Madrid introduces a new stage. It will give space to dance music with more concerns with proposals under the curatorship of national collectives and platforms.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, August 29, the beats emanating from this space will be led by EGO-TRIP<\/strong>, with its members Lier<\/strong>, Texture<\/strong>, and Yoryo<\/strong> offering their fresh, unapologetic take on electronic music that respects the roots of house and techno. Additionally, ZSONGO CLUB<\/strong> will feature Chris Collins<\/strong> and Afri K<\/strong>, who will focus on the sounds of amapiano, afrobeat, and afro-trap, capturing the essence of the most contemporary music from the African continent.<\/p>\n

Friday, August 30, will be the territory of ANT\u00cdDOTO CLUB<\/strong>, the revolutionary session that has found the balance between urban culture and irreverent clubbing, featuring top talents Yosef, Diego Armando,<\/strong> and Maxvll.<\/strong> Also, La Luz,<\/strong> the concept created by Gazzi<\/strong> with his imaginative electronic music, will be joined by Turkish-British Aleksandir <\/strong> and his melodic sensitivity on this special date.<\/p>\n

On Saturday 31, two proposals as different as they are complementary. First, CARBS<\/strong>, the session with the most irresistible and hedonistic disco, boogie, and house music, featuring Polish artist Ketiov<\/strong> and Chilean Fernanda Arrau<\/strong>, hosted by Glenda Galore<\/strong> and her performers. Secondly, the platform MAREO<\/strong>, which highlights the sonic explorations of the new wave of Spanish artists, will feature the experimental sounds of Galician Akazie<\/strong>, the festive and surprising LaFrancessa <\/strong> from Barcelona, and the irreverent breaks of Granada\u2019s 8kitoo<\/strong>. A night to celebrate diversity and free love with the most fitting music.<\/p>\n
