KALORAMA Madrid has BALORE, a sustainable, safe, social space where you can find out about the festival’s commitment to environmental and social causes.

The BALORE space of the KALORAMA Madrid Festival wants to meet and inform you.

🟣 SAFE, DIVERSE, EGALITARIAN AND FREE OF SEXIST AGGRESSION FESTIVAL
VIOLET Point, where you can find out about the prevention and reporting of situations of harassment and sexist violence. In collaboration with the Directorate General for Equality and against Gender Violence and the Directorate General of Municipal Police of the Madrid City Council and in line with the ‘NI UNA MÁS’ campaign.

RAINBOW point, where you can find out about KALORAMA Madrid’s commitment to the LGTBIQ+ movement. Information, awareness-raising, visibility of the LGTB+ community in collaboration with COGAM.

🟢 ENVIRONMENTALLY ACTIVE FESTIVAL
GREEN Point, where you can find out about the festival’s environmental measures to reduce the carbon footprint, promote sustainable transport, a containerisation plan for recycling and waste reduction. All generators are powered by renewable fuel (in collaboration with the Quality and Sustainability Department of IFEMA Madrid and REPSOL).

🔵 ACCESSIBLE FESTIVAL

ACCESSIBILITY AND WELFARE point, on the Festival’s work to improve universal accessibility for everyone to the event and improve the experience. In collaboration with ONCE and the NGO CONTROLA CLUB with the programme ‘PAD NIGHT – Take CONTROL of your night’, a project of the Madrid Salud Addictions Institute, aimed at preventing the risks associated with nightlife among young people.

🟡 SOLIDARY AND INCLUSIVE FESTIVAL
INCLUSION point, focused on promoting an event committed to the development of the city and the territory, taking into account the groups with the greatest needs and helping to make the work of third sector organisations more visible. In collaboration with the LUZ CASANOVA Foundation: hiring of people in processes of social incorporation, guided visits to the Festival for 25 people from SinHogarismo and Women’s Support programmes and awareness-raising. Donation of the money raised through invitations to the Madrid Food Bank.
