This new edition comes with changes: it will take place on 20 and 21 June 2025 at Caja Mágica, offering two days of open-air music with a limited capacity. KALORAMA Madrid kicks off the summer season with a diverse and relevant soundtrack, blending global and local talent—the perfect prologue to the holiday season. Your summer starts now.

Pet Shop Boys

Headlining the festival, Pet Shop Boys will bring their pioneering fusion of pop and theatrical spectacle to KALORAMA Madrid. With a career spanning decades, 15 studio albums and 44 UK Top 30 singles, Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe continue to set the standard for live performance. As part of their Dreamworld: The Greatest Hits Live tour—now in its fourth year—they will deliver an electrifying show that reaffirms their status. In a 5-star live review of their show, London’s Metro stated, “The finest British pop group of the past 40 years are in the form of their lives.” And then added, “…a life-affirming, soul-reviving joy of a show.”

Also topping the bill is Jorja Smith, whose magnetic voice and distinctive fusion of R&B, soul, and electronic music have cemented her as one of the most outstanding artists of her generation. Azealia Banks, always provocative and avant-garde, will take the stage with her electrifying presence and an explosive mix of hip-hop, house, and electronic beats. The charismatic stage presence of Father John Misty will bring his unique vision of contemporary folk-rock to life, adding his signature blend of irony and lyricism to this year’s edition. After 11 years away from the Iberian Peninsula, Scissor Sisters return with their unmistakable fusion of glam, pop, and pure party energy. The Flaming Lips will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots at KALORAMA Madrid, the album that established them as one of the most innovative bands in psychedelic indie, a sonic journey between the human and the artificial, filled with emotion and fantasy.

KALORAMA Madrid also champions innovative sounds from the global music scene. BADBADNOTGOOD will bring their unique fusion of jazz, hip-hop, and electronic music, pushing the boundaries of the genre with their instrumental virtuosity. Boy Harsher, the American duo, will envelop the audience in their hypnotic blend of darkwave and minimalist synth-pop. From France, L’Impératrice will bring their signature sophisticated electronic pop with retro influences, infused with elegance and irresistible rhythms. Rounding out the festival’s international lineup, Model/Actriz will embody the most visceral side of the bill, delivering an abrasive live performance where chaos and intensity become part of the spectacle.

KALORAMA Madrid reaffirms its commitment to the national scene and local talent as an essential part of its identity. In this edition, Maria Arnal, in her new solo phase, reinterprets tradition with a contemporary approach, while Alizzz brings his unmistakable fusion of pop and electronic music. PUTOCHINOMARICÓN, always transgressive and avant-garde, pushes the boundaries of the genre with experimental pop and sharp social commentary, a space also explored by Laura Sam, who will bring her powerful blend of spoken word and electronic music to the festival. Names like La Plata, Irenegarry, and El Buen Hijo complete this celebration of local talent with their fresh melodies and generational lyrics.

New developments on the road to 2025

Following the success of its first edition in 2024, which left attendees with an unforgettable experience, KALORAMA Madrid returns with the same spirit that made it a triumph—a festival where music and diversity come together in a carefully curated format designed for the audience’s enjoyment and comfort. This year, the festival will take place in June and move to Caja Mágica, where attendees can enjoy two unforgettable days, closing out spring to the rhythm of some of the most exciting acts in today’s music scene.

The KALORAMA Madrid organisers extend special thanks to the Comunidad de Madrid, whose support, along with that of sponsors and other collaborating institutions, makes this event possible.
